Looking through my jewelry box this morning I came across my aunt's Girl Scout ring. It looks a lot like a class ring, with its symbols engraved on the side and a big green gem sparkling in the middle. I started thinking about my favorite parts of being a Girl Scout (other than the Thin Mints) and remembered singing songs, going on field trips and beading bracelets with my girlfriends. Who says those days have to end?

Have you ever seen the movie, Troop Beverly Hills? That's pretty close to what my troop was like. My mom was our Girl Scout Leader and we always had lovely snacks and did lots of cool art projects. No need to bother ourselves with outdoor camp-like activities. :)

Oh my goodness, I totally know how that goes. I can't tell you how many times I have tried on these fringed moccasin booties. They never look right, but I am entranced nonetheless.
