I'd like to say I was this dressed up all day, but in truth this only lasted about an hour at the most. Not feeling well again, I took the day off of work to alternate between drinking lots of water and sleeping for extended periods of time. At around 4:30 or so in the afternoon I rallied just enough to take a shower and put on the outfit I would have worn into work. This is another shot at the layering technique I used once before (here). I feel like I have nearly doubled my wardrobe with this handy little trick.

You did well even to dress up! It's the last thing I feel like doing when I feel rubbish! I like the stripes - stripes are underrated! xx

love so much your skirt and your top!!!
Super pretty! x
When I feel like crap sometimes I too just have to put on a skirt and it makes me feel so much better. Your smile is gorgeous!
love the stripes and skirt combination!

I love your layer techniques. You had me so convinced that was a skirt before I read the fine print. Really adorable outfit! I'm glad you got to wear it out for a little while, but so sorry to hear about not feeling well. Dressing up a bit always helps shake the icky feelings a little.

That is such a cute dress, love the fabric.
Talk about fashion undercover. I was just thinking, I have to get that skirt, but it's actually a dress...Fabulous styling!
I"m so sorry you weren't feeling well...hope that the crummys have passed! I love the layering you did here, TOTALLY looks like a skirt. And those wedges are darling!

Alissa! That compliment just made my whole day! Thank you! :)
Callie, it does indeed. I perked up just in time for the pics, but it was back to bed shortly after I must admit.
Thank you so much! That means a lot coming from you, one of my favorite bloggers! I get so many good ideas from you!
Oh yay! I'm glad I pulled it off well! I love those shoes too. :)
