It is positively wintry here and I am feeling chilled to the bone. My beloved blue cardigan wasn't quite enough against today's temperatures and these photos were taken while KW and I posed on campus, teeth a-chattering. I bought these boots while I was on my honeymoon in Victoria, B.C. and they have served me quite well on these blustery northwest days. Everyone says summer here doesn't really start until the day after Independence Day. In the meantime I'll curl up under a quilt, brew some tea, fill up my hot water bottle and hibernate just a bit longer.
